Milan Full Back Antonini : Van Basten Should Mind His Own Business
After many years of playing at clubs like Empoli, Sampdoria, Siena, as well as a number of Serie B and C clubs, full back Luca Antonini finally was given a chance to play for AC Milan, the club whose youth system he graduated from, this season.

Although he certainly isn't sure of a starting place, he has made a number of appearences for the Rossoneri, and it's also likely he will start tomorrow's match against Cagliari, as Gianluca Zambrotta may be rested.

"I think we are playing very well," he said in response to the criticism the team has been receiving lately.

"It's true that we always concede the same types of goals, but I can assure that from the match against Cagliari it won't happen anymore. [Coach Carlo] Ancelotti is well-respected by everyone, I don't see why his position must always be put in doubt."

Recently former Milan striker Marco Van Basten, currently working as coach of Ajax in his homecountry of Holland, said the reason the Rossoneri have been struggling is that the squad is too old.

In response to that, Antonini said: "Van Basten says Milan are old? I think it's always better to look at your own problems..."
